Yalın Başay is postdoctoral researcher at Middle East Technical University. He graduated from TED Ankara College High School and received his undergraduate degree in electrical and electronics engineering at TOBB University of Economics and Technology. In 2024, he obtained his doctoral degree from Micro and Nanotechnology program of Middle East Technical University with a thesis titled “Passive and Active Phase Manipulation of Photons for Linear Optical Quantum Information Processing” His current research interests are optical quantum information processing, photonic integrated circuits
