Eleni Tsatsaroni is a Social Anthropologist, specialised in the field of new media and technology as well as digital ethnography. Currently she is a PhD Candidate for the department of Sociology of National and Kapodestrian University of Athens. Her work is focused on the interconnection between science fiction and scientific reality in the framework of the postmodern society. She examines this contemporary subject of technologic influence as a posthuman subject, determined by its opposition to the humanistic ideal of Enlightenment and modernity.
